Nani Serrano Research

Nani Serrano was born in Alcoi, a Spanish town in Alicante. She studied graphic design at the School of Arts and Crafts of Alcoi and her first professional works were developed in Valencia.

In 1996 she moved to Barcelona, where she became interested in illustration. She consideres herself a versatile artist, and moulds her ideas constantly, which are always in constant movement.

She describes her work:

"Collage, airbrushing and illustration by computer are usual in my work. With the collage I create a fancy-dress ball of distorted realities. The airbrush shoots pastel shades making blush touches. It softens, embellishes. It makes fiery colours, burning and blazing. And with my computer I create an animated world inhabited by fantastic characters."
